For those of you who are eager to book accomodation, travel, leave-from-work, baby sitters, pet sitters, plant sitters… the dates of the BASH 2024 are as follows:
- Start: Friday 29th of November 2024
- Finish: Sunday 1st of December 2024.
This short announcement is to confirm that the dates for BASH 2024 in Bundanoon will be in the last weekend of November, which this year will spill across to December. This also means that the Bundanoon Folk Festival will not be coincide with the BASH 2024 tango weekend.
More news to come in the months ahead, including the registration opening date.
Registration Dates
We have not scheduled registration date opening at this time.
Registration for the event will probably open between March–June 2024.
Attendance numbers will be limited. The organisers will aim to achieve a 1:1 ratio of Leader/Follower roles.
What is BASH?
BASH is an annual tango weekend operating from the Soldiers Memorial Hall in Bundanoon on the last weekend of November featuring 4 milongas and ancilliary activities. Previous BASH events have included yoga, bushwalking and classes.
BASH 2024 will feature a live tango orchestra/band on Saturday night.
BASH is a tango weekend managed by the tango associations of Canberra and Sydney.
Tango Social Club of Canberra hosted last year’s event, BASH 2023. Tango Synergy of Sydney will be responsible for the managment of BASH 2024.
BASH is an acronym of Buenos Aires in the Southern Highlands.
