Friday 29th November
Friday night welcome
This Friday night, we warm up with easy going cocktail lounge music, we return to BASH with musical entertainment featuring our singer and MC, Arthur Athanassiou. Relax, unwind and mingle with old friends or new acquaintances.
Wines for BASH 2024 are kindly provided by Mike Bruer of Temple Bruer Organic Wines. Non-alcoholic drinks and delicious snacks will also be provided at the welcome party.
Friday night milonga
DJ Chris Han (BNE) brings his warmth and quality to the BASH opening night milonga. Chris Han’s wonderful and charming DJing will touch you with his heartfelt selection of golden age tango hits.
9pm: Light supper is served.

Saturday 30th November
Saturday morning 2 hour guided bushwalk
Guided by Andrew McMillan, group walk to Fairy Bower Falls in the Morton National Park. Bring your hat and hiking boots, rain-coat and water bottle. $8 per vehicle park entrance fee.
ASSEMBLY POINT: 8AM – Park entrance on Gullies Road, south of Bundanoon
WET WEATHER CONTINGENCY: Stay in bed!
Yoga in the hall
Instructor Brit Adams from Moss Vale Yoga Studio will be guiding BASH participants through a revitalising yoga session in the dance hall.
Bring your yoga mat, comfortable yoga attire and your water bottle!

Mind+Body(Sync) Contempo dance workshop
Change-up your tango thinking with this contempo dance workshop. Expand your dance expression with contemporary dance instructor, Aška Zahoranska. Aška will guide a workshop on synchonising our minds and bodies to accentuate the movement with power and grace.

Saturday afternoon milonga
DJ Juan Quiroz (SYD) will delight us with his playful and surprising selection of traditional golden age music. DJ Juan has a reputation for assembling carefully considered tango sets created with quality tangos that go beyond the big familiar hits. We think you’re going to love this session.

Saturday Night Gala
Saturday night milonga DJ set
DJ Mark Stojani (ADL) is looking after us during this important Saturday night gala milonga. Know for his traditional sets with occasional mix of modern orchestra interpretations, DJ Mark will be in charge of keeping the night moving with 5 hours of music.
9:30pm: Performance from Mendoza Tango Quartet.
10pm: Light supper is served.

Tango music quartet performs live!
We present Mendoza Tango Quartet feat. Solange Lipcin who will set the hall alight with their repertoire of tango hits this Super Saturday night. Returning again from BASH 2023, Mendoza are coming in hot off the back of their recent appearances at Perth Tango Festival. You’ll be delighted by their tango repertoire of big hits, valses and milongas – a treat for live music lovers! Mendoza will play two 35 minute sets separated by a 30 minute break, during which, supper will be served in the break room.

Sunday farewell milonga
DJ Alex (SYD) thrives on every opportunity to play for tango dancers, unleashing the best tango tracks a massive collection. The choicest DJ for many tango events in Australia and New Zealand, we are excited to present the a farewell milonga that will be dynamic, playful and fun. You won’t want to miss a tanda!

BASH 2024 Group Photo
After the last tanda of the tango weekend, we assemble at the end of the event to take part in a group photo; to capture a lasting memory to remind us of the wonderful moments we had until the next event. Abrazos!
