SoTango is a vibrant Sydney-based Argentine tango school founded by national tango champion Sophia de Lautour (Alvarez) and co-led by esteemed teacher Paul Warren. Together they bring decades of performance, study and international experience to their community, offering classes, workshops, and social dances that are both welcoming and deeply rooted in the musical and cultural heart of tango.
Through her classes and events they has reached and taught literally thousands of people to tango. Sophia has been described as the ‘teacher of teachers’ as a number of her former students are now themselves tango instructors.
