Let’s back to the roots of tango! Let’s go back to “Canyengue”!
Canyengue is the term often used to describe the first dance recognized as “tango” which appeared in the slums at the outskirts of Buenos Aires and Montevideo around the turn of the 20th century.
Tango Sur is holding two Canyengue classes with Canyengue Master Nelson on August 18th and 25th at Jannali Community Centre. See the flyer for more details.
